National wedding dress day is being held on Friday, 25 August in conjunction with Take a Break magazine and women all over the country are getting their dresses out to raise money for charity.

All participants need to do is to gain sponsorship by the hour for wearing their wedding dress either at work, in the pub, in the supermarket, out with friends or wherever you choose. What could be more fun?

People can also wear a bridesmaid dress, or the mother-of-the-bride outfit and men can even dress as page boys or wear a special suit.
