Actress Carrie Fisher, aka Princess Leia Organa from the original Star Wars trilogy explained why she fears having plastic surgery. The now 50-year old actress is reported as stating according to contactmusic.com, “I’m afraid to do it, because people come out looking like other people.”

Although appearing in a number of other movies, both on the big screen and TV, she has never had the success she had in Star Wars. Other performances by the actress include Hannah and Her Sisters and Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle. Fisher is the daughter of actress Debbie Reynolds and singer Eddie Fisher (one of Elizabeth Taylor’s ex-husbands).

Fisher is now best known as a script doctor, helping other writers fine-tune their scripts.
