SO far, only three celebrities here have admitted to having gone through cosmetic surgery. Actress Phyllis Quek, 34, was the first to confess, saying she had had her eyelids done in 2003 in China.

She saw nothing wrong in revealing it, saying: ‘What’s wrong? It’s a very modern society now.’

Quan Yifeng also came clean with her botched nose job last year, which saw her suffering a crooked nose implant and plenty of trauma.

She had willingly shared her experience to warn others of the possible pitfalls of plastic surgery.

For her pain, the 32-year-old also won our Flame Awards Si Beh Suay (unlucky) Award last year.

The most recent celebrity to reveal her plastic surgery history, and an extensive one at that, is Singapore Idol 2004’s Maia Lee.
