Beauty is Candy Patti’s business. She owns a salon, which is one reason Candy got a facelift, but was concerned because she’s seen a lot of bad ones. “We’ve seen horrific hair loss, where women would get that windblown look where they lose the front part, their ears are down further,” she said.

Often make-up can’t hide the scars. So Candy did some research and discovered the space-lift.

“This is in my mind, the future of what a facelift should be,” said Dr. Daniel Man, Plastic Surgeon.

Man is the creator of this new technique.

“A regular incision would be in here and then would go somewhere on here, but her incision goes inside the ear totally and then comes behind the ear in here,” he said.

It’s done endoscopically. Small incisions are made and tiny instruments are used to lift the muscle under the skin, even the ears are pulled up.
