A new study has concluded that working overtime may be less healthy for women than for men. Psychologists at England’s University of Leeds surveyed working men and women and found overtime work was worse for women because they simply snacked more, which led to weight gain and declining health”My husband hardly ever snacks when he gets stressed. Me, I’m like, ‘Where’s the chips? Where’s the crackers. Where’s the cookies?’” Janice Holland said.

The study also found that women were less likely to exercise when they worked overtime hours.To combat negative health effects of work-related stress, many companies are pushing health as a priority. At First Command in Fort Worth, employees who work out one and a half hours a week get an extra $75 in their monthly paycheck.
